Young RYLA Week 1 Update

Head JCs Alex Wood and Ruben Gonzalez, along with Chair Rolo Cuadrado, continue to meet by phone weekly.

The new JC selection process worked very well. All three conferences worked together leading up to a “draft pick” meeting on January 4^th. We appreciate the cooperation of June, Curt, Miguel, Stan, Emily, & Darian.

Returning JCs:

Alex Brandenberg, Gamachu Said, Emily Goodman, Sami Slenker, Stefan Folkesson

New JCs:

Kate Shields, Katie Cochran, Martin Garcia, Mengyuan Yu, Rhys Williams, Sheridan Sutton, Stefani Messik

Staff JCs:

Bree Haas, Mark Yee, Paul McNally, Rebekah Bewley

We also selected 5 alternate JCs: Kaylyn White, Kinleigh Jones, Kyrstin Kempf, Madison Dern, Sydney Stansbury

Senior Counselor recruitment is going well. We expect to finalize our SC selections by February 15^th.

Jim and Junior will attending for a few days as needed, but will not be there for the entire week. We are glad to have them there to facilitate certain sessions. Staff JCs will perform other duties which have been done by J & J in the past.

Speakers Corey Ciocchetti, John Alhenius, & Wally vanSickle are confirmed. Awaiting confirmation from Dave Boon.

Peter Aquino will be unavailable, so we are searching for a replacement with Jim Hoops’ help.
